The Bighorn River is fishing wonderfully! Expect to fish primarily nymphs right now as the fish aren’t up to eat the midges quite yet. Fish double sow bug patterns like a Ray Charles (grey or tan) with a 7 foot leader and a small log of tungsten putty. We are still around 119% snowpack for the Big Horn basin and water flows are being managed with the summer in mind. This should shape up to be a productive year of fishing.
