Great fishing this past weekend! Fishing remains very good with the stable flow at 7000 CFS. The river is clean and clear and fish are actively feeding along the banks and in the riffles.
Nymph fishing and throwing streamers has been very productive the last week and should remain very good until we start seeing our next major insect activity with caddis, PMD's and yellow sally's in the next few weeks. Fish are mainly feeding on scuds, aquatic worms and sow bugs. Try patterns in 14-18 and shorten your indicator rig to 5-6 feet and look for active fish along the banks and in the riffles.
The weather forecast this weeks has temps in the high 70's and sunny making for a great week of fishing. The river is high but fishing great. Be safe and have fun!!
